Dear participants, expositors, and sponsors of PetroPhase 2022,

Since its start in 1999, the PetroPhase conference has been devoted to the deep study of all-around oils, spanning from the upstream to the downstream and being the incubator of a very important field such as petroleomics. As Colombian petroleum scientists, we consider the PetroPhase as the most important conference to discuss, debate, explain, understand, and resolve all the interesting phenomena we observed in our daily duties in academia and industry around the crude oil and its fractions, and more important to these, the networking that conference has been offering to us throughout the last 22 years, which has made it possible to strengthen ties, open new paths and jointly advance towards better knowledge.

Because of this and acknowledging the council and people who put the efforts to bring the conference to Colombia, on behalf of our organizing committee & Ecopetrol S.A., we are delighted to announce the 22nd International Conference on Petroleum Phase Behavior & Fouling (PetroPhase 2022) will be held from June 12 to 16, 2022 in Bucaramanga, Colombia.

After many years, the PetroPhase conference is back in Latin America, ¡Bucaramanga opens the doors to all of you! The city is in the northeast of Colombia, the capital of Santander, a region known for being the largest cacao producer in the country that has positioned its varieties in the world’s elite of chocolate.
